well, my bed had enticed me today not to leave it at 8 o clock. With all the possible options of missing the finance class, i struggled against the desires of slumber and finally got ready (in an instant), Off to college. well, suprizingly 3 classes were held today, compared with the lack of teacher's interests to take up the classes since 2 weeks. rihani was at his murderous best, moving swiftly from one podium to the next.
Certain incidents like the infamous brawl of kansal and dhawan today deserve a special mention. it was a very intimate, romantic and hardcore action going on at the last bench where they were squeazing their muscles out trying to cause harm. anyways, dhawan stood the clear winner. (we even bet on that, alok put his 2 rs on kansal and had he won, he would have got 10 bucks back .. sadly, nothin of that sort happened). lol
Nag's class provided the much needed 'subway' break. aloo patty seemed okay, considering the descent of paneer tikkas down my tummy everyday... but just before that, the orange peel fight had began from the other portion of the class.both sides decked with armour, the players had their share of fun hitting out at sleeping or uninterested girls and people right on the faces.
next comes the arun class, (this blog is getting conventional with diff. para's for diff. teachers) its time for mexican waves in the class (now that what people aspire to do in class)..... until the teacher found out.. the torcherous period, where the motive was to make a person write to death.
anyways, college ended here for me here ... then comes the random trip to dharampur side, with school friends ... an unconventional one though, with the main character being a very sweet, but a little straightforwardly dumb friend(thats a bad word not intended in the bad sense, more rationally, it should be 'blonde'). It so happens sometime that the place you are touring becomes invisible but only the people you are with are important. Helps you enjoy a moment with yourself, without anything on the mind, no decision making, no nothing. Just you, yourself and your senses.
Now, then discussing from topics like recession to show off to people's sex life, it was a really stupid laughter riot, with lots and lots of bakwaas. Thankfully, i wasnt the target(as told, the sweet, little dumb friend got the honours). But anyways, what amazed me is that people were pretty hush-hush and curiously confused about my virginity.. now thats a separate issue, but anyways, how can there be any confusions regarding that ?? reminds me of the last year's ides of march.. oh . lets forget that, shall we?
yea, then its the time for alvida and coming back home. But eh, the day doesnt end here . does it ????? ya ya .. i have more to brag about the eventful day .... its night and at 11 i get a chance to watch 'gulaal', a take on the society, by maverick director, anurag kashyap. he was having a hard time sell his script since 2003, but i'd say its one hell of an engrossing, thoughtfully directed and heavy. not for the casual cinema-goers, but a breathtaking piece of work. Have not many words about it, but am equally sure people wont appreciate or like the movie .. so lets be diplomatic and say it's an okay movie, but personally, it was brilliant.
hey .. we missed something .. whats so lucky about it ?? well nothing really (apart from the fact its not unlucky, being friday and 13th together) but just seconds of comfort, peace, serenity and happiness. and yea .....today, a stupid and small yet fulfilling incident happened. it was a really sweet, respectful and caring voice ringing into my ears saying ... khholnaaa (well the word took an eternity to reach because of the respect in that tone ... ) .. ..
anyways, it went like ....
khholnaaa {long pause} apni khidki ... lots more 'blonde moments' and frolic followed, the coffee just seems sweet today ....

ReplyDeletewow ankit!! thanks for tht sweet n amazing reference.
ReplyDeleteu hav really written vry well! good job.
actually wen we encounter some1 new, we quickly tend to make perceptions. the irony is ppl tend to c warmth n competence as inversely related. A surplus of one means deficit of other. instance: "just coz she's nice, ppl assume she's dumb".
( u kno i mean well.. nothing personally to u. sorry if i'm sounding rude, saying all this on a lighter mode)
anyways, the trip was vry enjoyable, specially with some1 so crazy like u around.
"GO OUT N SCREW UP!" thts wat i constantly felt wen i was with u"
