whats about the philosophy these days ? whats about all the 1 liners on gtalk status messages ? well, am late to discuss it, but june and early july has been the most 'philosophical' month for the freshly graduated engineers (including me).

Why ? no naukri (for the majority) , no chokkri (for some more unlucky ones).
With the recession making our lives miserable, most of the people experienced sorry letters, deferrals and lots more. some unluckier like me, still havent recieved any intimation by the companies. all this stress just after the joy of graduating made it sound more miserable. Plus the reminiscence of belts being hit and parties been given (which burnt a hole in everyone's pockets) in the name of job acceptances making it all the more miserable.

all this was evident on gtalk status messages, with practically everyone turning a philosopher or cursing someone or the other.
With cliche's like 'naukri dava de rabba' to more philosophical like 'pessimism never won any battle', sometimes even emotions fail to do justice to how i feel', 'If you're falling off a cliff, you may as well try to fly...You have nothing to loose' and god knows what to cocky ones like 'aVELAbel' available+vela.. lol,

everyones turned into a philosopher. ok. that june has passed and july's bought news about joining for the most. the transition, too has been something to show off about. those getting the joinings feel sorry for leaving chandigarh (to boast that they've got the joining), while some explicitly type 'got the joining' on the status.
its big news, to get a joining, even if from some bullshit company giving a crap of 17K per month or 25 K per month only. just remember last year, things moved in 6lac per annum and stuff, and now people are just so happy to get even salaries of clerks to just go out of home and feel happy to be on a job while the rest of their peers still are busy with empty minds making new philosophies and sharing 'desperate' status messages.

PS: i dedicate this space to ***** ****(name suppressed), who started it all, the desperate messages since his puberty (that happened like 2nd year college) when he started finding a girl for his life, sadly, we all had to witness some crappy status's of his for 2 years.
