another issue of national importance has emerged out from the mangalore rioting and extremism. the whole idea of beating girls in a 'pub'lic place is a devilish and a heinous crime. however, there is more that meets the eye from the whole incident. at first look, the fingers point at bjp and the mass hysteria that such an event could do to tamper its image. even our home minister, chidambaram said it was an attempt to defame BJP. clearly, this is a game of simple politics in the election year. its common sense that BJP would not only gain mass support from such acts (u'll understand why) but be given a boost of votes because of such things rather than tainting it's image.
anyone remember's babri ? oh yes ... it was a heinous crime too. now, that was clearly openly done. this is a more subtle deed. any opinion show on the news channel may provide 2 conflicting opinions. one, the 'conservatists' of liberalisation pointing to the freedom of expression and the other the conservative conservatives trying to show the light of uncultured and immoral practices being followed in metros.
both are equally sensible and yet conflicting. we deserve the right to experiment and express. but in the name of expression, we need not forget our culture, our heritage and certain rules not dictated by the constitution, but by the rich history of our ancestors.
let me be brief. our modern culture cannot be based on live-in relations, teenage sex and pregnancies because these are the vices of western civilization. rather than learning, politicians know metros have fallen prey to it. britain battled of teenage pregnancies 3 years back and found that 80% of young girls losing virginity. nothing is immoral according to the law, but not scientifically and socially, NOT ACCEPTABLE.
now then, any fight has always helped BJP get the masses from all the states (except educated metro people) syncronise with BJP and thats what it has understood it must do. india shining failed badly because the target was middle-class, while congress had been fundamentally supporting farmers and other lower class (though never in the name of factious politics). BSP. the brilliant example of grassroot level politics.
so, anyways, It is definately going to help extremist politicians ruling our country helped by the fickleness of the masses.
admit it, for a common man, I'd always go for preserving our culture and define mangalore acts as barbaric, but think that the distorted culture of metros need be stopped.. this is when i start getting in sync with the ideology that i had initially opposed. cant understand? read again .. you wont anyways...

college ka raaz-the mystery continues
A bizzare day, to say the least. a cherishing one, though, like-another-busy-day-of-life. Waking up after hearing noises at 7 in the morning, i found out my cousin relatives had turned up while it was a foggy winter's twilight time. I had a bath (now thats 1 important thing bizzare about the day) and got ready like a nice sweet boy going to school at 8. i really feel one should bathe everyday before going out of home (thats what malaika arora said too, but who listens?). the chilly winters continued their romance and my bike fueled my passion for it. before reaching the college, the morning had more suprizes as i had a glimpse of my dear classmate-simran sidhu, looking beautiful, strangely, after losing wieght.
now then, the regular classes and going for gedi to citco, barista and subway's. (remember today's a tuesday !). i met the director and gupta sir today, for the point of my long standing funding problems for presenting a paper. i've fought mental wars regarding this and chewed alot on the matter and the financial's involved. it turns out that its a real mess sometimes, too much thinking. as my father says, "i'd never think that much". but anyways, the raaz has continued with college authorities playing a hide and seek game with me.
the director's meet was logical and interesting. my mindset was to get all the information from his mind (rather than selling my trip), in which i didnt do badly, i believe. a certain questions still remain while i found the director a little pessimistic (or too theoretical, shall we call it?). anyways, am just wishing things turn out well cause my mind is grooving up to go on a trip to thailand.
Followed by watching a bizzare movie, clockwork orange for 30 min (after that couldnt tolerate much), went to discuss about major project discussions with my mentor. this was the time i was selling my idea.
then came another raaz-the movie.. went for a 5 o clock show, i found the movie interesting and nicely packaged, though with it's constraints. making a horror movie is not an easy job and the director has tried well. the story line is faulty in it's essence, but its what the different way it is presented is what appealed me. some creative efforts like the ATM scene, the bus killing kangna etc(which could have been a plunderous joke if wrongly attempted) deserve some credit. brilliance of kangna too deserve an appraise(she was hot, sexy and scary all at once in the scene she's using abusive language). the flaws are too much to write but i'd not waste time on those aspects ...

frusst... a triple dose of discipline in 4th year ..
another torcherous week ended with the college teachers. its really a triple dose of discipline for notorious people of our batch.
SUICIDE 1::
the day starts with V. rihani sucking up all the positive vibes of the morning and craving us for fresh oxygen. ok, more practically, he beats to death by drawing rectangular diagrams and writing on the board.... he has a knack of making us understand the most simple things in the most complicated manner that people are always in awe of him, rather than understanding the basic fact that he has a wildly wrong perception of not understanding simple things in simple manner.
SUICIDE 2::
the torcher shifts from blackboard to the stage. here comes nagendra saha, (since vats had murmured in the class that he doesnt speak english well, he's constantly delivering lectures in english.) a bollywood song aptly describes him.... emotional atyachaar... man .. its one hell of 3rd degree torcher.. he keeps on speaking the whole class and expects full attention and idealism from every student. death by hearing ... shifting topics remarkably well, he may start with wireless communication, go on discussing human virtues and end up on giving tips on which car to buy, why more trees should be planted and how diabetes is linked with mobile phones (now thats the link back to wireless communication)
2 hours gone, without a break these hair pulling sessions dont end here.. here comes SUICIDE 3::
arun kumar and his page of notes.. the stage shifts towards the podium where he keeps on standing and reciting microwave-hymns from the notes he's written. no line makes any sense, so he quickly adds," i can understand this is just a little boring". the class is busy scribbling and brain-wracking "kis pichle janam ke paap ka badla le rahe hai humse". surely, everyone in the class cant be hitler, mussolini or marie-antoinette. then why everyone has to bear the torcher?
the best part in this is that there is no possibility of moving left or right for 3 straight hours, talk about wispering some witty comment (the ece guys are famous for commenting on anything- be it a poor joke)
the notoriety of our class was emminent by throwing spit-balls on faces of people(once or twice on teachers), shouting wierd names of teachers on their face(any colleague remembers 'mau' being shouted at chem teacher?), throwing pens, orange peels, tiffin box,paper-things and even pieces of wood once towards teachers. other things do deserve attention like mobile songs, playing with college projector and electricity of room and lots more.. just to disturb the teacher. and dont forget amidst all this, every guy is in some jocular discussion with people sitting nearby.
then why notorious teachers trying their techniques of disciplining such jungle-bred chaps which are going to be ece engineers in just 4 months ... ??

blogs- replacing relations or just another self expression way?
I just heard a comment that in time to come blogging would eliminate any need of having a Girl friend. Imagine the age when your read about your wife's secrets from her hidden blog. and do worry, its quite possible. its quite being theorized the advent of blogging and its consequences. learned people have openely expressed resentment about tools like these and cropping up of social networking sites, while people (like me) have found a new found way of self-expression and venting daily shit by indulging in it. Surely, they say it helps reduce one's dependence on others. can we say the old 'lovely' long conversation has just given way to short sms, scraps and self-expressing blogs??
Its common (and imperative) for people my age trying hands at wooing and getting support from the other sex. the main reasons a person needs a GF or a BF are broadly::
emotional support, sex and a being in a more powerful position with peer group.
well, blogs and social networking just help majorly in getting the 1st (though in a few cases it has helped guys getting random chicks for one nite stands, but thats rare). the other two are always achieved by 'hardwork' .. (and i mean that)
then why is blogging popular among everyone?
i believe the major reason is that in the age of networking, layers of restraint and practice prevents the ruthless, uncultured true-self of every individual. while gargantuan amounts of frustration lie in everyone's mind, this frustration only needs a vent. most people blow their minds off it on some individuals in the name of emotional support(family, close friends etc.) while rare cases throw it out whenever their thresholds become full. others are using blogs to that effect.
blogs are also a place to show a different aspect of a person (rafael nadal launched his blog recently which prompted me to write this post) or cater to the fan-base by providing deeds of heroism and motivational stories plebians enjoy. but anyways, for me its just another tool of self-expression and helps in regaining focus after writing unfocussed shit no one could ever finish understanding about.

7777 ... happy birthday ???
regrets that my net was not working for some days so no blog... anyways, coming to the matter.. .
7777 ... for the sake of being repetitive, its seven thousand seven hundred seventy seven days.... since i'm alive ..
january 20, 2009 would be a day to remember as i had survived for 7,777 days since my birth .. to a lesser extent it may also be remembered the day when US had its first black president. obama is not only hailed as the president of US, but as the president of the World.
now .. more importantly, why 7777 ? i was disturbed by the fact that why do we celebrate birthdays. in our life, we have had only 1 birthday. rationalizing on this issue, it seems logical not only to celebrate years since you've grown up (as is the trend.. ) but also to celebrate your 1000th day or 100000 hour of 1 millionth second of existence .. why not ?? every moment is important .. why only the concept of years and birthdays ??
the buildup of my 'luckiest' day on earth wasnt that great .. i didnt win any lottery or had any gains in any transaction whatsoever. the 7777'th week was just a normal average week making me learn i am just another guy which gets his share of criticism, abuses and mockery..
average.. but important. helps to realize that even bad things do not let you lose your smile and intrigue by which you see the strange world.. and good things make your day ..
oh .. and the the best thing i've witnessed this week is hearing someone special geniunely smile (just a hemmmhemm type voice) on phone for 1/2 a second and a message from him/her saying "it was nice talking with you".
trivial things .... but all the while end up being IMPORTANT things.

chandni chowk 2 .. oh no ..
well, i cant remember if i've ever watched premiere shows of any movies, but today wasnt exactly the good day to watch one. though the day was great where the biggest accomplishment being that i may be offered some compensation if i go to present a paper by the college (upto 20,000). lots of news and happenings learnt today.... somethings which deserve mention are
american porn industry asking for bailout...
25% of our 1st year getting into probation due to a+b=c+d (wasnt that obvious 25% have to get D grades by this law)
rihani proving out to be a good guy (he spoke up for my paper presentation case in senate meeting)
imperial college's hidden fact that it needs no application money.. this was perfect end to a good day.
and of course, getting to watch a free premiere show of chandni chowk to china...
now then, why this was not a great experience??
cause the movie sucks .. big time .. imagine the excitement.. free show + premiere + nice crowd (mba guys were felicitated today, so was expected to meet old guys)...
anyways, it seemed a copy of B grade brainless comedy-action movie where umbrellas make u go up in the air (antigravity), hats are the most deadliest weapons and god exists in potatoes ... senseless rite ?? thats the movie for you....
where a girl remembers details when she was 1 month old but has no ideas what she did when she was 4, where poison only affects villains and hero does x-men stunts just because the director wants him to.
its the most stupid shit i've seen in recent times, more stupid than our female vampire or gunda or loha movies .... but should be the best seller B grade movie (starring mithun, too .. i forgot.. he speaks bihari and wears punjabi jooti .. n am like ... wtf ?? )

2 lectures and so much to write about
in rihani's 1st class, a guy was thrown out of the class because he was talking and writing something on his copy. rihani read aloud his writings for the class
" CAT goes online.. ......
now the mouse will chase the cat.. "
copyrights to rohit bhatt(or the guy he copied this from), who had to go out of the class to show the world his sincerest feelings about mba and cat.
rihani's pronounciation amazes me. while fingers became fengs and pebbles became pabs, alok was pronounced and aloknath and the best. ruhani murria was pronounced by rihani as rehani moria ... was he referring to himself is wat people asked. why moria?
nagendra saha told the class 3 times that he does not write anything on the board while teaching and the 4th time he was about to do so, jaskeerat aptly said, sir vo board vali baat bata do.. bechara bola nai .. now its become usual to hear 2 classes going on .. one from the teacher from the front and the other voice coming from either vats or jaskeerat (with random sneers of dhawan topping it up) from behind. telling each comment would make it drab, so its suffice we stop this topic here.
nagendra saha (was seeming like a bengali chap, though his accent is bihari..)discussed something unique, though. the concept of shifting of jobs rather than creation of more jobs. while 10 years ago, banks used to have more employees, now they need not have. while the peons, clerks and other staff remained in a good quantity for about 10 engineers and 1 manager to assist, creation of more engineering jobs and managerial positions has resulted in downgrading of the post of an engineer and similarly the support staff is not needed.
so there has been job creation and job deprivation side by side. job shifting is what is being seen. the socialist guys can chew this and continue their ongoing debate about social inequality. guess nagendra sir mus be bengali den..

the first day of 8th sem @ pec
after registering myself yest .. the first day in coll. .. aah ..
am gonna be taught by the most frightening teachers of the elec dept this time and alongwith the A+B=C+D rule, i dont expect myself to be having an easy sem this time.
we have Rihani, Nagendra saha and arun kumar all teaching us core subjects of electronics . am imagining the tough times about to come. alongwith major project, too .... the 4th subject is humanities-managerial finance(which give me some hope to get a nice grade this time).
anyways, teachers are a pain ... while i had a hard time today tryin to get lor from bagai for my final application (which he hasnt given),it seems harder talking with other's too.
jyoti kedia wanted some info bout technical activities of college, which i provided her. then comes arrogance, ignorance and god knows what. am helping her for no reason, but people are like, u didnt do this, write it in this manner and blah blah .. i did it and slipped it in her room.
next comes our neena ma'am. she's a real nice person sometimes but i just regret why i couldnt get an A grade after scoring highest marks in the final examination (95 out of 100, can you imagine still getting a B), in those ways neelu jain was awesome, giving me an A in DSP.
coming back to rihani. our registrar of college says (and knows nothing am sure) of possibility of funding me to presenting paper at hongkong conference in which my paper is selected. i listened to his advice and went to gupta sir to get my application (suggested by him) signed, when he suggested its research so gurnam singh would be the man. i go to the director and he tells the correct information.
"well... There is no policy regarding this matter in our college made till now, but u've given this, so we'll make a committee and develop some policy soon. but i dont think you'll be getting anything before march." last date for conference registration is jan 20. so in all probability i cannot go there which implies i wont be presenting the paper or getting any benefit for getting it accepted on an international platform.
anyways, since our first year, we've been on this pill. there is no policy for this. anything... while the hindi newspapers boast of 1 lac funding by our for just participating in competitions (with a bleak possibility of winning), sure shot things like these dont get funding cause there is no policy (as you can see). anyways, am not perturbed by these cause i dont intend to go for the conference only, but i feel sad at the state of affairs cause random people get benefit of doing nonsense things while wonderful things lie in the corner craving for their time of praise.

can i ever complete this challenge ?
we usually hear "gimme a challenge n i'd finish it." its stupid, cause thats the way people think "standing up for oneself" is. i guess i was like this .. will work as hard as possible to finish off a challenge .... but what if the challenge is stupid?
I'd prefer not to waste my precious time on it.. but isnt it tempting to take up the challenge and end up in a bigger mess. ?
its been 2nd time when someone (and that someone is really close n family 2 me), elderly, wise (though i doubt that) was seen laughing at me,trying to mock me, and challenging me (now this is the good part).
what was the challenge ?? "i bet you get a girl on your own"...can you imagine .. such a stupid, whimsical want of someone i highly look upto.. and it was laughter that folllowed. wild laughter. even experienced people are now challenging me to get a partner .. can anything go worser than this ??
the problem in the world is that once you realise that you are happy and satisfied with the way you are, people just give you something to reconsider your happiness and try resurrecting things (which you originally didnt want). these challenges may instigate a fire inside me to prove it wrong, but hope the brain and logic wins over flimsy, nugatory and worthless challenges which dont deserve my attention.

last sunday before start of the last semester...
i had a habit (now turned into a practice) to write before my semester started. the usual question was.. am i ready ?? i have started saving paper, so thought lets type here only ..
this holidays have been the most average in terms of everything. I just think recession has hit me these holidays. this holidays have seen a recession in my activities and adventures .. i have practically done nothing. sleeping at odd hours ( anytime after 3AM, sometimes i tried sleeping around 11 PM, but woke up at 3AM and didnt sleep after that), waking up anytime after 2PM (though i clocked 4 'o clock many times). watching movies, sucking up bandwidth of internet connection during free hours and writing this stupid blog can be just some of the constructive things i have done. rest i have just been lazy...
now, it seems highly pleasant to avoid college. at the helm of 7th sem, it feels this has been an unending life at college, though quite eventful. always been in thick of things, i have just used my time according to my mind. confusions, frustrations and opportunities have dominated my attitude. I have found times when i was caught in sticky situations and never i have done anything that i would feel sorry for. i am just satisfied with each and every thing i have experienced from college and now i just feel more clearer in my thought process (though a little less flexible)
am i ready .. ? this time, i dont need be ready. my last semester, where i have nothing to work for, do nothing constructive in college. usually, i have had a big to do list ready for the sem. this time,i have to work hard to get marks and do something BIG.... I guess thats it. just be what i was and will be .. bring it on ..

2009-terrorism
well, i intend not to make this article anti-US, but just cannot help. just like the export of recession, they have successfully created a more dangerous opposition for not only themselves, but for the entire world.
well, to go back in time, afghanistan's demise was caused by the russian invasion.(the 1st at fault). in the years to come, the prosperity enjoyed by afghans never came back and such resentment was bound to grow into harmful activities. Our honorable neighbours (with financial support of US) provide the training camps, ammunition and skills to the rebels so that they fight against the russians. fuelled by US initially the taliban, which in the name of restoration law become a military rule and no peace, no effort to restore a social life is made. friends turn into foes when taliban tries its hands at destroying its creator and things just go worser. and worser.
now, alongwith the arms and ammunition (provided for the afghan war), pakistan gets enough funds to carry on it's agenda for kashmir. the training camps and other infrastructure easily available, pakistan up's it's offensive on india.
and what happens after is that we all know.
i dont say that its india who is the sufferer. india has had it's share of bad practices and policies done in the name of vote bank politics. communalising hindu-muslim factions, the babri masjid riots, sikh riots, gujarat riots etc are a few to name (which were internal matter of the country and dealt wrongly). but whats the future now ??
mumbai attacks has opened up our eyes for rethinking and restrategizing just like recession has been an eye opener, too.
i read a very important idea which is worth mentioning here. India, has successfully solved problems of terrorism earlier (the sikh riots) by no military action- like our honorable US did for iraq and afghanistan- which is a TOTAL BLUNDER which indians cannot afford to repeat (learning from west's mistakes rite?? ).
BUT
in the case of sikh riots, india eradicated terrorism from its roots by making the place prosperous, inviting trade and making people self-dependant. at the end of the day, a prosperous person can never commit extremist steps.
if there is terrorism means pakistan's and afghanistan's government failed to make the society prosperous. so, to eradicate terrorism from its roots, we must find ways to rethink and make the impoverished, frustrated community of these countries more prosperous rather than keeping them at war (which is defering the situation right ??? )

2009-recession
its been an eye opener for the entire world. the start of 2009 has witnessed harsh reality and is the time to rethink and re-evalute the direction where we are heading to.
facts::
West (read as the motley of 1st world countries) has failed with its idea of capitalism.
Global recession (an essential product of US) has clearly indicated the fallacies in judgement of west.
though most millionaires of the west have been bailed out by the socialist west, its the poorer and developing nations which are suffering.
let me try making sense now.
though i am not a follower of socialism (i hardly know anything to be a follower), but am sure that the preaching of capitalism theories (sharply criticised by marx as a cycle of boom and bust) by the west has been wrong. What the west has over the years done is that they have strengthened their internal economies to be competitive through capitalism and the weaker ones have been either 'bailed out' or 'outsourced'. now, the preaching of capitalism comes in. in the name of 'competitive cost advantage' and 'open markets' for the developing nations, they have coupled up other nation's economies and sold their products at higher prices (to maintain THEIR citizen's lifestyles) and got cheaper services (again to maintain THEIR citizen's lifestyles). any faults in their system are met with provision of assistance to their citizens (thats what socialism is, rite?). in specific context with india, first, the west wants free flow of money across the world. then they start pouring in money like hell to make the economy of india seem like the biggest in the world (with NYSE trading around 13000, india's is trading around 22,000). then they extract all of it and get lots of profit (to help maintain THEIR lifestyle in troubled times) in doing so and play the blame on recession. US played bull in markets and who has to suffer? the indians, who, stupidly (and with rising salaries thought of using that extra money) put the money into stock market. had the markets not been open, the sensex would still be trading at 10,000 in jan, so that people would'nt have turned into fools(as it is today). so the sufferers have been developing nations as their money is sucked up to the US (do i need to write 'to help maintain THEIR lifestyle' again?? )
but here's the catch. till what time can all this continue ??
how much more can, and the US govt will DO to continue with this policy. i believe these protectionist schemes and 'bail outs' or wateva are just there to defer the bust that marx predicts. its time to wake up and accept the past and change your attitude for tomorrow ...

malice
when i watched malizia (malice in italian), i was shocked, yet felt a kind of reinforcement running in me. not to say that i liked the movie, it explores a very existing, yet underground fact most men would have gone through ( dont know about women, but i guess they should be no less). the movie dwells on the sexual uprising of the teenage boy as the main plot. the subplots, i.e. his bigger brother and his divorced father's fantasies, too makes one realise that despite the age or maturity, lust is lust and the desire to get it can control anyone's feelings.
the movie also beautifully dishes to what length a young boy can go to achieve his desires. malice- to disturb other people to get what you want(but for your sexual fantasies, malice ??). and showing the small, subtle stupidities that i am sure every boy does in those years. i dont forget the scene in which the teenage guy, going in a car, being overpowered by his mind tries touching the lady sitting next to her. a subtle, yet universal thing which every guy never boasted of. this just reminds me that when i was a kid ......

nothing to do
ok .. i dont have much to write about for today .. have actually not done much for the last 2 days, apart from working on my sop(and that's the only good thing i have done in like a LONG while), watchin movies and chatting ..
ok . i watched slumdog millionaire and i guess despite the craze behind it and the imdb rankings, its just another movie .. nothing great .. maharathi was damn better but got no praise n got from theatres in a week or so.. anyways, it shows india like it is NOT. INDIA IS NOT LIKE the one shown in the movie. yes, i have seen the slums and know the happenings about the beggar system shown make real sense. but the apathy in which india is shown is not india .. india, after all is more diverse compared with mumbai and agra alone... there is much more delight in travelling on rail in india. india is shown to be a place for mercy, a dirt-haven and god knows what else. yes, dirtiness is an aspect prevalent here, but the whole movie could have been made more realistically rather than to remind the viewer that "look.. india is dirty". you can find more realistic shots showing the actual india and the beauty of it. . . even the language used (hindi abusive swearings) are common and of not much impact actually .. they've been thrown just for the sake of it (and to show that hindi is a bad language .. ). i guess thats why the 'firang' loved the movie (they got a chance to feel pity for us ..) and rated it so high.
am just comparing slumdog millionaire to city of god, a brilliant movie showing the dirtiness, earthiness and anything bad in the most beautiful manner i've seen. the language is portugese, but i loved watchin the movie with subtitles ..
forgot to tell you about the japanese movie "naked killer". dont watch it ! the subtitles are a real mess.. the whole movie made little sense. and nothing raunchy in the movie as expected from the title. its just-another-thriller

wooo-hooo
ok .. this is a very general topic.... but i'll start with the basics ..
things to do to grab her attention :::
first of all, its a tricky and exact science, this process of courting a girl. no matter how much you may practice, you are bound to make mistakes . its how you can cover and get things for your advantage.
1) praise, praise and lots more praise (be subtle in words, though)
most guys know this .. but commit the error here. telling a girl you are sexy is no praise. its a clear indication that you are trying desperate attempts at gettin it. the secret lies in not in this flirty praising, but being really specific and intelligent while using this.
2)making the girl laugh ..
we are not dealing with raunchy jokes that might be great sitting with friends, nor poor jokes happening in everyday lives. we are looking for something really universal, one liners (cause the shorter, the more easily they understand) or something applicable to the occasion. here, being impromptu is the best thing, if its your piece of art. well, this one is easy, but some thinking to what kind of thing the other person may like would be useful.
3) getting to know her friends
the best way to a woman's heart is through people who know her. behaving great with her good friends helps you in times of distress and we've seen lots of movies to support this thing. no details..
4)suprize, suprize.
every girl likes suprizes. playing on fear (this doesnt mean playing a prank. here you realise the girl that there she is misunderstanding you), adventure and unexpectedness does wonders and fast-tracks relationships. this doesnt imply using this trick often, but suprise is the best way to rejuvenate or kindle up relations.
a piece of caution is that though there may be some rebellion observed on the face, but the more intense the feelings, the more you'll succeed.
5) when there is nothing for the girl to talk about, this is the BEST time.
this is the climax usually. when the girl has done her share of talking and then things turn towards you. this is the time. make her feel comfortable and ask her deep stuff. compared to boys, the girls know their limitations, there strengths n weaknesses and you just have to pay attention to the details. deep-talk really clarifies and gives an opportunity for the girl to think about you. and when things come to you, depending on the girl, you have the choice of being cocky or just carefully using similarities to your advantage.
6) emotion...
once the girl asks any kind of emotional support from you, THIS IS THE TIME. people have found their long-time loves by just lending a shoulder. and this it the best way you can show your love and care for the girl.. so its a tried and tested formula, too. end topic.
7) be a good listener and never start off with your stories (no matter how hard it seems)
what else, have forgotten many things while writing this, but anyways,
things like attitude, carrying yourself, mentality of the girl(some are just too immature to realise your love), confidence, where you look (ya .. that is a major turn off sometimes) are really important when you are seeing.... but everyone knows that ..rite???
its really important to :::
be slow (yes, if you are in love, you can wait),
lookout for hints,
never fight a lost battle
and dont randomly try any girl (which sometimes may end up using you for her benefit)
most importantly, for the lovers and one's who would be in love soon,
i'd say::
"agar kissi afsane ko anjaam dena ho naamumkin, to usse khoobsurat mod par chodd jaana"
dont lose heart, cause the author has lost many battles but is still full in confidence ... lol ..

prounounce as: felosoFEE
hmmm.. lets talk about some thing basic and generalise it.
boys and girls ........
well, since aeons its known man is a social animal. i think man is truly an animal; and his opposite sex is the caretaker.
not to take in the extreme sense, but man has been an hunter. its psyche wants victory, new conquests, adventure. his body, streamlined for this only supports the cause. notice a guy's hands. rugged, made to hold onto anything he wants and with a strong grasp. its a fact that athletic guys are sharp, born to desire and do everything to get it. the softies and a little more chubby ones have more female characteristics.my point here is that the kind of physique tells what kind of mentality the person is.
anyways, back to the topic. man DESIRES and as soon as he gets them, he DESIRES more .. and there is nothing wrong in this.(like the adjectives vicious circle, samsara etc.) the man is born to be fickle and run like an animal. from one place in search for satisfaction. though he too doesnt know wat will help him to satisfy him fully. i bet even the most underestimated people (like the sweet n reserved fellows) may be found to be highly competitive and wanting in certain situations. after one thing, another is needed .. and another .. and so on .. and this is why the girl is made by god.
girls, we know are emotional n stuff. but the reason for that is to act as a perfect foil to the ruthless aggressor called men. they are the creation to tame them, to make them harmless, less desiring .. no matter whatever people say or do, the female will always be the 'opposite sex'. but never the ruthless one or trying to emote boys. people say girls cannot dominate. i deny this fact. girls do dominate. they dominate the males to be harmless. the tricks of the trade are known to everyone. the woman's wants are entirely opposite to the man.(well, mostly). what else, the society builds up on these facts. food for thought for the females would be that dont be fickle and dicey, cause men are more fickle than you(and you wont realise the fact) and for the guys would be that ignorance is bliss, certain things do not need be experienced or conquered and its better to kill 1 desire than making effort for the 100 new ones that come with it.
i guess we all know all this. then wat did i get by typing this ? killed my time i guess ... anyways..

a wasteful day
sleep is bliss... was sleeping the whole day when around 3 15 paarth turned up (for his photographs...) anyways, when sense started dawning i just realized mom had gone to ambala and lunch would not be available.
watched " to kill a mockingbird" while paarth went to meet pratik. i liked the movie, the role of the protagonist and the esp. the dialogue " i am not an idealist. but i ....". the movie is a great watch... it starts the debate of following the right and wrong in mind... even once makes me think 'lets be a lawyer!'.
then, i go on making paneer patty for myself (its about 6 PM and i haven't had anything since). its 7 and paarth turns up .. he gets the pics and leaves.
i just found out that the result of last sem had been declared a week ago, but i was unaware of it. still i havent found out what my CGPA is, but anyways, i feel desperate to talk with you-know-who. BSNL is great ! it doesnt work at the time it should and i end up making no calls.. anyways, then starts the next movie - "strange vice of Mrs wardh", an italian movie, having great italian backdrops and a sex-thriller plot. having all the masala like sex, blood and deaths, it was a nice watch, too. the girl is just BEAUTIFUL (and other adjectives included) in the movie. dont understand why the name of girl is carefully kept as JULIE in movies whenever the girl is expected to have a prominent role in the movie and esp. if there is lust and erotica involved (remember swimming pool, and the indian movies of julie??)
anyways, post-dinner, another movie beckons. "the black belly of tarantula", another italian flick, with all the more lovely girls. no julie here, but unnamed girls ( and am sure had names of some been given, julie may have cropped up).
the 'hero' of the movie is not the kind of indian heros- having exceptional brains or muscles or looks (though he resembles fardeen khan), but an average guy .. i liked the way things turn out to make a okay murder mystery story with all the blood, sexy girls and death scenes stiched together.
so in all, nothing great done 2day ...... ...... (though am downloading more italian flicks now.. of different genre though.. this sex, murder thingy is getting boring now.)

it starts at 9 30 when people start calling me up. are you awake ? yes. just got up.. anyways, i woke up finally at 3:40 PM and had lunch (call that breakfast) and stuff around 4 30'ish. people asking whats the big plans for the day are. nothing really, its 5 50 and i tell em to come to my place around 6 30 so that we can discuss what to do later. anyways, i get ready ONTIME and its 7 till no one comes. anyways, things get messed up as there is NO PLAN and we end up wasting time n then going out around 8 15 to PEC. the guards, doing their duty come up and ask wats upstairs at cafe. "any girl up dere?." unfortunately, its disha whose upstairs.. anyways, after sometime, we leave the cafe top floor and depart with dish and anjul. we go check out chicks at foodstreet and then finally decide on having pizza at dominoes. party is on atul. come back, celebrate happy birthday of my grandfather and have the lovely cake. regular chit-chat with mom and pop and some stupid recording of my mom singing out loud "teri maa nu ... makki ki rotiyan .. " at my pop. i sometimes wonder why my parents joke so much.. but it keeps me feeling happy from inside sometimes .. though i dont like the crudeness sometimes.... but anyways .. day ends like this only..
